Other Music Builds

I have built instrument racks for my friends. There are two wall hanging racks shown. The banjo rack has a large checkerboard design on walnut. The checkerboard is reminiscent of the binding / purfling on Gibson Banjos. The hanging guitar rack has a centerpiece inspired by guitar end wedges. The mounting holes are covered by pyramid bridge mock-ups. I also build floor stands that hang the guitar. These are great when there are no dog-wagging tails to knock them about, and where the instrument is not likely to be bumped. I use my personal stand next to me when I practice as a temporary place to put my guitar when I need both hands for something else.
